Garden Design & Consultancy Services – Bristol

Based in Central Bristol, I provide expert garden design and consultancy for both urban and rural gardens across Gloucestershire, Somerset, Wiltshire, and the Cotswolds. Whether you require a one-off consultation, planting plan or a comprehensive masterplan, my practice is dedicated to addressing the specific needs of each project.

Consultancy
During a site visit, I provide imaginative, expert ideas to help you unlock your garden's full potential. This typically takes between 1–3 hours.

Concept Design
Following a site visit, where we’ll discuss your brief in detail, I will create a ‘Concept Design’. A ‘Concept Design’ provides you with the following;

a. 'Outline plan' (A1 drawing)
b. 3D sketches
c. Materials and planting mood boards.
(A topographical survey maybe required to form a concept design).


Detailed Outline Plan/Masterplan
A ‘Detailed Outline Plan’ is a fully scaled drawing of your garden and is the basis from which your contractor(landscaper) will build your garden. A ‘Detailed Outline Plan’ provides the following;

a. Detailed Outline Plan (Rendered A1 2D drawing)
b. Documents required for the contractor tendering process 

c. Construction drawings for your contractor
d. Scope of Works for your contractor
e. Planting plans and schedules.

(A topographical survey is required to form a detailed outline plan).


Planting Design
For a garden with established hard landscaping, I create new planting plans that work for clients whether you are keen gardeners, employ gardeners or require a low maintenance scheme. Planting design includes the following;

a. Drawn detailed planting plans
b. Plant schedule
c. Sourcing quality plants.
